2.1. Research & Experiment (40%)

  • COMSOL Model - Full Cell Hysteresis:
    • Expanded a half-cell model to a full-cell model, adding hysteresis for a 5060 mAh Li-ion battery.
    • Customized cathode materials were implemented for improved accuracy.
  • Python Model - PyBaMM Code:
    • Development and testing of PyBaMM for charging/discharging cycles.
    • Integration of advanced algorithms for model optimization is underway.

2.2. Learning & Training (30%)

  • Time Investment: 20 hours dedicated.
    • Focus on drafting a new research proposal and attending a training camp on transfer learning skills.
  • IEEE Learning:
    • Meeting with Jiawei Wang, Richard Liu, and Yinbo Hu for discussions on IEEE.
    • Plan to register as an IEEE Fellow and actively participate in future events.

2.3. Administration & Business (20%)

  • New Accommodation:
    • 5 hours spent discussing with Kerrie and the Wellbeing team for securing new accommodation.
  • TSu Energy:
    • Successfully launched β€œTSu Spotlights” and β€œTSu Record” based on industrial needs.
  • Visa Applications:
    • Both Germany and US visas were submitted, with health insurance for Germany arranged.
    • Next steps: Pass the visa for the US after receiving the passport.
